Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by the laws of your country to use online services) to use Mizantiq. If you are under the age required to enter into a legally binding agreement in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. If you use Mizantiq on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on behalf of that organization.

2. Your account

To use most features you need an account, created with an email and password or through Google sign-in. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Notify us promptly at privacy@mizantiq.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. The Service and beta status

Mizantiq lets you upload spreadsheet files, build charts and dashboards, link related tables, and share dashboards by invitation. Because the Service is in beta, features may be added, changed, limited, or removed, and the Service may occasionally be unavailable or behave unexpectedly. We may set or adjust usage limits (such as file size, number of dashboards, versions, and storage) as part of your plan. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes, but we are not obligated to maintain any particular feature.

4. Your content

You retain all ownership of the files you uploadand the dashboards and configurations you create (“Your Content”). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you and to the people you invite — for example, storing your files, rendering your charts, and delivering dashboards to your invitees. This license exists only to run the Service and ends when you delete Your Content or your account, subject to routine backups as described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent and warrant that:

• You have the necessary rights to upload Your Content and to grant the license above; and
• Your Content, and our processing of it as described here, does not violate any law or infringe anyone else’s rights, including any data-protection or privacy rights of individuals whose information appears in your files.

You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important files. We are not a backup service.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload or share content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to use;
• Upload malware, or use the Service to distribute harmful or malicious code;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users’ accounts or data, or our systems and networks;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure, or attempt to circumvent usage limits or security controls;
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service except as permitted by law;
• Use the Service to harass others or to send unsolicited or unlawful communications, including through the invitation feature; or
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

6. Sharing and collaboration

Dashboards are private by default. You may invite specific people to view a dashboard by email; only invited people can access it, and there are no public links. You are responsible for whom you invite and for ensuring you have the right to share Your Content with them. You can revoke access at any time from within the app.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, branding, and the “Mizantiq” name and logo — belongs to us and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without our prior written permission. We welcome your feedback and may use it to improve the Service without any obligation to you.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the settings page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your use poses a security or legal risk, or if we are required to do so by law. Where reasonable, we will try to give you notice. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including content ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply after your account ends.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that defects will be corrected, or that the results or calculations obtained from the Service will meet your requirements. You are responsible for verifying any output before relying on it for important decisions.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mizantiq and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or business, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total liability arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us, if any, for the Service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mizantiq and its operator from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts located in Egypt will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where mandatory law in your place of residence provides otherwise.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service. Your continued use of Mizantiq after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
