Refund Policy
Last updated: September 12, 2026
This Refund Policy explains when you can get your money back from Mizantiq, how to ask for a refund, and how long it takes. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to every paid plan. Mizantiq is operated by an individual based in Egypt. If anything here is unclear, email support@mizantiq.comand ask — we would rather answer a question before you subscribe than argue about it afterwards.
1. Try before you pay
Mizantiq has a free plan that does not expire and does not ask for a card. You can upload a spreadsheet, build dashboards, share them by invitation, and connect an AI assistant without paying anything. We recommend using it properly before you upgrade — the free plan is the real product, not a demo, and it is the best way to find out whether a paid plan is worth it for you.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your first payment on a paid plan, ask us within 14 days and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason. This applies to both monthly and annual plans, and the 14 days run from the date the payment was taken.
The guarantee covers your firstpayment on a plan — the one that starts the subscription. Renewals are covered by Section 4.
If you upgrade from one paid plan to a more expensive one, the difference you pay for that upgrade is treated as a first payment for the purposes of this section.
3. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period.
Cancelling stops future charges. It does not end your access immediately: you keep your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your account reverts to the free plan after that. If you cancel on day 3 of a monthly plan, you keep the paid plan for the rest of that month.
If you also want a refund of the period you are in, that is covered by the guarantee in Section 2 when you are within 14 days of your first payment.
4. Renewals
Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. Renewal payments are generally not refundable, because you can cancel at any point during a period to prevent the next charge, and we email you before an annual plan renews.
One exception, for renewals you did not intend. If an annual plan renews and you contact us within 7 days of the charge, and you have not used the Service since it renewed, we will cancel the renewal and refund it in full. We would rather return money you did not mean to spend than keep a customer who feels tricked.
Outside that window, cancelling a renewed subscription stops the next charge and you keep access for the rest of the period you paid for.
5. When the Service fails
The guarantee above is about changing your mind. This section is about us not delivering. If a paid feature you subscribed for stops working, is removed, or the Service is unavailable for a sustained period, tell us within 30 days of the problem. Depending on what happened and how long it lasted, we may:
- Fix it and extend your subscription by the affected time;
- Refund the affected part of your current billing period on a pro-rated basis; or
- Refund your current billing period in full.
Remedies under this section are handled case by case and are limited to the billing period in which the problem occurred. We do not offer a guaranteed uptime commitment, but a paid plan that does not do what the Pricing page said it would is our problem to put right, not yours.
6. What is not refunded
To be straightforward about the limits:
- Requests made more than 14 days after a first payment, outside the circumstances in Section 4 or Section 5;
- Renewal payments, except as described in Section 4;
- Accounts we suspend or terminate for a breach of our Terms of Service;
- Repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles, or any use of this policy that is plainly abusive. We may decline a refund on these grounds, and we will tell you plainly if we do; and
- Partial months or unused capacity on a plan you simply did not use — a subscription pays for availability of the Service, not for time spent in it.
Nothing in this section overrides your rights under Section 10.
7. How to request a refund
Email support@mizantiq.com from the address on your Mizantiq account, with:
- The email address on the account;
- The approximate date and amount of the payment; and
- Optionally, what went wrong. You do not have to explain yourself within the 14-day window, but it helps us fix things.
We will reply with a decision within 5 business days. If we approve the refund, we submit it to our payment processor the same day.
8. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original card or payment method used for the purchase, in the original currency, through our payment processor Kashier. We cannot send a refund to a different card, a bank transfer, or a wallet.
Once we submit a refund, how quickly it appears on your statement is up to your card issuer, not us. Kashier states that refunds generally take between 2 and 14 working days, and can take up to 60 days for payments made with a virtual card. This is on top of our 5-business-day decision time.
A note on exchange rates.If your card is issued in a currency other than the one you were charged in, your bank converts twice — once on the purchase and once on the refund — at rates it sets on each date. The amount that lands back on your statement may therefore differ slightly from the amount you paid. We always refund the exact amount charged in the original currency; the difference is your bank’s conversion and is outside our control.
9. What happens to your data after a refund
A refund ends the subscription it relates to, and your account reverts to the free plan. Nothing is deleted.Your dashboards, datasets, and uploaded files stay in your account, and if you are over the free plan’s limits you get a 30-day grace period at full access before over-quota dashboards become read-only. You can still open and export them at that point, and resubscribing restores full access immediately. The details are in Section 5 of our Terms of Service.
10. Your consumer rights
This policy is written to sit alongside your legal rights, not to replace them. Under the Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018, a consumer who buys at a distance may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. Our guarantee in Section 2 is designed to meet that right, and nothing in this policy removes or limits it.
If you live somewhere with equivalent mandatory consumer protection law, those rights apply to you too, and they take precedence over anything in this policy that would give you less.
11. Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please email support@mizantiq.combefore disputing it with your bank. We are one person and we answer quickly — a refund we approve reaches you faster than a chargeback, and it costs neither of us the paperwork.
If you do not recognise a charge from Mizantiq at all, contact us immediately. We will investigate, and if the charge was not authorised by you, we will refund it and secure the account.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. The version of this policy in force on the date you made a payment is the version that applies to that payment — a later change cannot reduce the refund rights attached to money you have already paid.
